Center at Holy Redeemer Church.
Fr. Gauthier Council was founded in 1989. Most of the founding
members were at the time Knights at Council 695 at St John Vianney in
Flint, MI. It is
named after Fr. Louis P. Gauthier, who was the first Pastor of Holy
Redeemer Parish when the parish first met in the old Burton Theater. Fr. Gauthier
was the main driving force for the construction of both the Holy Redeemer
School and Church. The Fr. Gauthier Council works closely with the Holy
Redeemer Parish in Burton, providing
funds for various projects, members being active participants in their
parish.
