Notes From The Grand Knight
By Ray LeTourneau, GK.
Vivat Jesus
It has been a very busy month for our
membership. We held our Poster
Contest but I do not have the results
as of yet. I will print their names in
next month's paper.
We held our Blitz on Dec. 7th &
Dec. 8th. We did okay but many men
signed to work the doors but few
showed up to help. Hopefully we got
a few men interested in joining our
Order. Blitzes are mandated by the
state on certain dates so we must
take them seriously. I want to thank
Jim Butler and John MacDonald for
working every Mass with me.
Our Corporate Communion went
very well. Attendance was good and
the Honor Guard was impressive as
usual. Thank you to everyone who
worked the Mass to make it a
success.
Our Pancakes with Santa was a
tremendous success and showed the
parish what the Knights of Columbus
is all about. We are family orientated
and capable of taking on big
projects. I am proud of you all for a
job well done. A special thanks to
Sally & Tom Higgerson, and Peter
Deisel for all the shopping that was
done. I also want to thank "Santa
Claus" and his helper for making this
event so nice for all the kiddies. Our
pancake crew was outstanding as
usual. Thank you to everyone that
helped with all the jobs that needed
to get done.
Our Christmas party went well and
everyone had a good time and the
food was excellent. I invited all the
widows and many came to the party.
We must update our list because
some came back because they
moved. I must thank the people who
helped me cook the meal and set up
the hall. Dick Hubbard, Bob
Dickerson, Phil LaBarge, and Cliff
Van Overbeke thanks to you all my
brothers for the help. Thanks also to
Jim Dryfuse and Dennis Owens for
handling the white elephant gift
exchange.
Lets keep Norb Bergeron, Neil
Campbell, Debbie Laguire, and Beth
Clark in our thoughts and prayers.
Get well soon my friends.

Editor’s Note
I apologize for this newsletter being
a bit late. With the holidays and our
Grand Knight spending time in the
hospital, we were slow to get the
newsletter assembled.
