Notes From The Grand Knight

 The Major Degree we 

hosted turned out very great. 

We had four new men join our 

council. Our people did a great 

job making everyone feel at 

home. Our 1

st

 degree team did a 

great job as usual and the 

dinner was excellent. I received 

nothing but praise for the job 

well done by our council.  

 The Mental Retardation 

Drive went very well. We 

raised over $6500.00 to be 

distributed within our area. We 

had many people who worked 

all 3 days plus worked the Fish 

fry on Friday. Many of our 

Knights worked with bad legs 

and knees for our cause because 

we did not have enough men to 

help us out. The MR Drive is 

the one thing we do all year 

where the public is watching 

and helping with their 

donations. If a member cannot 

do anything all year just give us 

2 hours during the drive and I 

would be very happy. Next year 

plan now on giving me 2 hours 

help for this worthy cause. To 

the members who made this a 

success, I offer my sincere 

gratitude for a job well done. I 

am so proud of our guys for 

stepping up to the challenge.

 The Fish fry was very 

successful this year because of 

all the hours that all you 

Knights donated to the Council. 

I cannot name all of you but 

you know who you are and I 

want to thank you for the 

dedication. All the good deeds 

that our council performs are 

made possible by fish fry funds. 

I need to thank Dick Hubbard 

for taking a lot of the pressure 

off with all the help he gives 

me. Thank you my friend and 

Brother Knight. 

 The elections will be 

coming soon so please consider 

running for an office.
