Notes From The Grand Knight

My Brothers, 

The Council is doing a tremendous 

job in all our projects this year. It is 

an honor to be the Grand Knight of 

such a great group of Brother 

Knights. 

Our Free-throw contest will be run 

through the school again next year. 

A thank you goes to John Rizzo for 

being a great youth director and to 

all the guys that showed up to help. 

Our 10-year-old council winner also 

won the district. 

The Catholic school brunch went 

well and we had plenty of help. Hats 

off to Tom and Sally Higgerson for 

all the work. 

I need to thank everyone involved 

with our 6-month audit. You need to 

know the tremendous job that Bill 

Krebs and George Kukler put into 

their work for the Council. Thank 

you my Brother Knights. 

The Fish Fry has been a little slow 

but Lent is almost here and it should 

pick up. We always need help 

especially now that many of our 

Knights are off to the sunshine 

states. Everyone should also be 

pushing our debt reduction raffle 

tickets. 

Our Blitz weekend went very well. 

We have a possible 8 more men 

ready to join our order. Last meeting 

we had 6 men join our order of 

Knights and I am sure they will be an 

asset to our Council. The Blitz takes 

a lot of work to pull off a good 

result. I want to thank all the 

speakers at the Masses and the 

people who man the doors. There are 

3 dedicated Knights who work every 

Mass when the Blitz is on at our 

Church. Dick Hubbard, John 

MacDonald, and Jim Butler I want to 

give you my personal “THANK 

YOU” 

Anyone wishing to golf in the K of C 

League please call Hollis Massie at 

736-0145. 

Our next Corporate Communion is 

on March 21st at the 10:00 Mass. 

Please mark off April 2nd,3rd, and 

4th to help with the M R drive. We 

always need help to collect monies at 

different locations.
